Port of Manchester User Survey The Port of Manchester Commissioners, assisted by volunteers from the MCP&PSG, the MCC and the MCA, have begun the process of surveying visitors to the Port facilities. Survey - Boat Launch Facilities Survey - Park Facilities The purpose of the survey is to determine such issues like - are visitors there to use the launch for fishing, pleasure or both? Are they there to use the park for picnics, beach, playground, etc. How often do they visit this recreation area and how far do they travel to get here? Did they have trouble finding adequate parking? Did they use the public restroom and trash facilities? This is an opportunity for visitors to voice their complaints and/or compliments, and offer ideas and solutions that will assist the Port Commissioners in planning for the future.

Additional dates for the summer series of the User Survey will be August 16th, and September 13th - 4am to 5pm at the boat launch and 10am to 5pm at Pomeroy Park. Volunteers are needed for both areas - it worked well last time with 2 to 3 hour shifts and everyone had a good time. Contact Bud & Wanda Larsen at bwlarsen@wavecable.com if you can help out.
