PORT OF MANCHESTER

BUDGET FY 2007

WHEREAS, the elected Commissioners of the Port of Manchester have met and considered the budget for the calendar and fiscal year 2007; and

WHEREAS, the districts actual levy amount from the previous year was $83,845, and

WHEREAS, the population of this District is less than 10,000; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of the Port of Manchester that an increase in the regular property tax levy is hereby authorized for the levy in to be collected in the 2007 tax year.

The Dollar amount of the increase over the actual levy amount from the previous year shall be $2426 which is a percentage increase of one percent from the highest allowed levy since 1986. This increase is exclusive of additional revenue resulting from new construction, improvements to property, newly constructed wind turbines, any increase in the value of state assessed property, and any annexations that have occurred and refunds made.
