RESOLUTION NO. 3-06

A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ELECTION OF THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE PORT OF MANCHESTER FOR 2006

WHEREAS, the Port of Manchester is a Port District organized and existing under the laws of the State of Washington, and

WHERAS, the laws of the State of Washington specifically provide that a President and Secretary be elected by the Board of Commissioners (RCW 53.12.245) and the Port of Manchester conducts this election annually at its first meeting of each calendar year, and also elects a Vice-President to serve during the absence or non-availability of the President, and

WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the Port have heretofore conducted an election at their January meeting, and Commissioner James Thompson has resigned since that election, and

WHEREAS, Daniel Fallstrom has been appointed to replace James Thompson for the remained of his term, and it is deemed appropriate to elect Daniel Fallstrom as Vice-President of the Commission to replace James Thompson, NOW THEREFORE

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:

Daniel Fallstrom is elected as Vice-President of the Commissioners of the Port of Manchester for the remainder of the year 2006.
