RESOLUTION NO. 2-06

A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ELECTION OF THE PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENT AND SECRETARY OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE PORT OF MANCHESTER FOR 2006

WHEREAS, the Port of Manchester is a Port District organized and existing under the laws of the State of Washington, and

WHERAS, the laws of the State of Washington specifically provide that a President and Secretary be elected by the Board of Commissioners (RCW 53.12.245) and the Port of Manchester conducts this election annually at its first meeting of each calendar year, and also elects a Vice-President to serve during the absence or non-availability of the President, and

WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the Port have heretofore conducted an election at their December meeting by voice vote, now therefor,

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:

1. James Strode is hereby elected as President of the Port for the year 2006.

2. James Thompson is hereby elected as Vice President of the Port for the year 2006.

3. Robert Parks is hereby elected as Secretary of the Port for the year 2006.
